International Game Technology (IGT) has announced a five-year contract through its subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corporation, to supply instant ticket games to Organización Nacional de Ciegos Españoles (ONCE) in Spain.
The contract, running through 2029, involves IGT printing a portion of ONCE's new instant tickets.
Commenting on the deal, Francisco José Martínez Palao, ONCE's Director of Operations and Logistics, stated: "ONCE continuously looks for ways to enhance our instant ticket portfolio, which is one of the reasons why we wanted to add IGT's diverse game content back into our lineup.
"IGT's industry-leading products have helped contribute to ONCE's success for over 20 years, and we believe IGT's wide variety of instant ticket games will enable us to continue providing premier player experiences."
Jay Gendron, IGT COO, Lottery, added: "IGT is pleased to once again be printing instant tickets for ONCE's lottery players to enjoy. As the longtime, trusted supplier of ONCE's lottery central system and software maintenance services, IGT looks forward to expanding our lottery portfolio in Spain to include new and exciting instant ticket themes."
It’s been a busy year so far for IGT. At the end of June, the company secured a new contract for Ohio Lottery Commission’s VLT system.
The contract – which is effective from 31 May 2024 to 30 June 2033 – was won through a competitive bidding process and includes an option for Ohio to renew the agreement for up to two additional one-year terms.
Yesterday IGT also announced that it has expanded its digital offerings by adding Prosperity Link to its growing US iGaming content library.
