Paradise Casino Walkerhill – located in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul – has unveiled its newly expanded VIP-exclusive venue.
This marks the casino's first expansion in nine years, increasing its total area by 17%.
The expansion, part of the Paradise Value Up Project, has transformed the second-floor buffet restaurant of Grand Walkerhill Seoul into a 1,064㎡ space dedicated to high-stakes bettors.
The new area features an Art Deco design with geometric patterns and vibrant colours. It includes seven private rooms, a lounge and a bar – all offering a personalised service to its high-rolling clients.
With this addition, Paradise Casino Walkerhill's total area has grown from 3,934.60㎡ to 4,587.26㎡.
In total, the casino now boasts 112 table games and 213 machine games, with an increase of 19 gaming machines courtesy of the expansion.
Paradise Group projects significant revenue growth from this new VIP venue, estimating KRW 22bn in 2025 ($16.54m) and KRW 32bn in 2026.
To further enhance its VIP customer base, the company also plans to open a new international lounge at Gimpo Airport in October.
Commenting on the development, CEO Choi Jong Hwan stated: "This expansion will bring us a critical opportunity to secure both physical infrastructure and high-roller customers, enabling us to gain significant competitive advantage as a leading casino operator.
“Paradise Group will continue to enhance VIP-exclusive facilities and service competitiveness across all locations, and we are committed to transforming into a smart casino by adopting new digital technologies, solidifying our position as a first mover in the market."
This news comes after Paradise Co saw mixed results in its recent financial report. The report saw a 7.3% monthly revenue increase in July, but a 1.3% decrease year-on-year.
