ms administrators Garden City Group (GCG) are to oversee the repayment of US-based Full Tilt Poker customers.
An announcement by the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York stated that GCG would “oversee the process of compensating eligible victims of the fraud committed by Full Tilt Poker against United States players” as set out in both the civil money laundering and forfeiture action, United States v. PokerStars.
Last August Tilt owners PokerStars reached a settlement with the US Department of Justice in which they agreed to forfeit $547 million to the US government, money which was to be used to compensate Full Tilt players who lost account funds following the events of Black Friday in April 2011.
The Garden City Group, who will process Petition for Remission claims submitted by Full Tilt fraud victims, are a class-action settlement, bankruptcy administration and claims administration firm who have worked on numerous complex administrations across nearly three decades.
The company are to utilise the website FullTiltPokerClaims.com to help facilitate the compensation process, which is scheduled to begin shortly.
