Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa has announced the appointment of Lu Tsai as its new VP of Asian Player Development.
In this role, he will report to Mikhail Gaushkin, SVP of Marketing and focus on expanding player engagement within Asian communities.
Tsai has more than 25 years of experience in the gaming and hospitality sector. He spent over a decade at Harrah’s and Caesars in Las Vegas, where he progressed from Executive Host to Director.
His career also includes leadership positions in Macau, Vietnam and South Korea, working with City of Dreams, Galaxy, Grand Ho Tram, Inspire and SJM.
His tenure in Asia included overseeing gaming revenue growth at City of Dreams and Galaxy Macau. Additionally, he was part of pre-opening teams for Harrah’s in 2004, Grand Lisboa Palace in 2019 and Mohegan Inspire in 2023.

Tsai’s appointment follows ongoing initiatives at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa aimed at strengthening player engagement strategies. The property has also been involved in community projects, including a $750,000 donation to 75 Tampa Bay charities in recognition of National Philanthropy Day.
