Key points:

- Soft2Bet has launched ElaBet.gr in Greece after obtaining a local gaming licence

- The platform offers exclusive Greek-themed games and localised gaming experiences

Soft2Bet has strengthened its foothold in Europe with the launch of ElaBet.gr in Greece, following the acquisition of a Greek operating licence.

The launch was made possible through coordinated efforts across Soft2Bet’s product, compliance and marketing teams – ensuring adherence to the Hellenic Gaming Commission’s (HGC) regulatory standards.

Soft2Bet positions ElaBet.gr as a platform that aims to distinguish itself with a range of exclusive content, including Greek-speaking live casino tables and three custom-built games inspired by Greek mythology – Gates of Hades, River of Styx and Medusa’s Madness.

Additionally, the platform incorporates Soft2Bet’s proprietary gamification mechanics, which introduce a mission-based approach to gaming, aimed at increasing retention and user engagement.

Good to know: Soft2Bet’s expansion strategy continues beyond Greece, as the company has recently secured a general gaming licence in Spain and is actively pursuing approval in New Jersey

Commenting on the launch, Uri Poliavich, Founder and CEO of Soft2Bet, stated: "We are not just launching a product. We are setting a new benchmark for the gaming industry in Greece.

“ElaBet.gr represents the highest standards of innovation and compliance, achieved through exceptional teamwork across our product, compliance and marketing departments.

“By responding to both regulatory expectations and market demands, we are confident that our gamification-driven approach will redefine the player experience in Greece."

This Greek expansion follows Soft2Bet's recent regulatory achievements in other jurisdictions, including obtaining a general licence from Spain's Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (DGOJ) in January 2025.
