Key points:
- Professor Thomas Plenborg has been nominated to join the Board of Directors at Better Collective
- He would replace Petra Von Rohr, who is stepping down after seven years on the board
- All other current board members are proposed for re-election
Better Collective’s Nomination Committee has proposed the election of Professor Thomas Plenborg to its Board of Directors, ahead of the group’s Annual General Meeting scheduled for 22 April 2025.
Plenborg, who currently serves as Chair of Danish logistics company DSV and is a professor at Copenhagen Business School, would replace outgoing board member Petra Von Rohr, who has chosen to resign after seven years of service.
The committee has also recommended the re-election of all other current board members, including Chair Jens Bager and Vice Chair Therese Hillman.
Chair of the Board Jens Bager commented: “On behalf of the Board, company and Founders, I would like to express our sincere appreciation to Petra Von Rohr for her dedicated service over the past seven years on the Board of Better Collective.”
In February 2025, Better Collective reported €371m ($399m) in full-year 2024 revenue, up 14% year-on-year, alongside a 21% increase in recurring revenue.
However, challenges in Brazil – where NDCs declined 15% in the second half of the year – have impacted projections, prompting the company to revise its short-term outlook while maintaining long-term confidence in the market.
Good to know: Better Collective recently initiated a €10m share buyback programme and its 2025 financial guidance includes projected revenue of €320m–€350m and EBITDA of €100m–€120m
Better Collective’s Nomination Committee includes representatives from Chr Dam Holding, J Søgaard Holding, BLS Capital Fondsmæglerselskab A/S and the company’s Board Chair.
The committee’s recommendation will be subject to shareholder approval at the AGM.
