Key points:
- PropSwap and Bally Bet have partnered in Mississippi, covering sportsbooks at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi and Bally’s Vicksburg
- The deal aims to increase handle and ticket volume by allowing resale of sports bets through PropSwap
- Partnership begins during NCAA March Madness and follows a similar collaboration with Harrah’s Gulf Coast in 2024
PropSwap has announced a partnership with Bally Bet, naming the operator its preferred sportsbook partner in Mississippi.
The agreement covers two Bally Bet retail sportsbooks – located at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Biloxi and Bally’s Vicksburg and is aimed at integrating PropSwap’s secondary market platform for sports betting tickets.
The partnership allows bettors at these locations to resell active betting slips via PropSwap’s online marketplace, potentially locking in profits before an event concludes.
The deal went live on 27 March, ahead of the NCAA basketball tournament’s round of 16 for both men’s and women’s brackets.
According to PropSwap, the collaboration is intended to increase both ticket volume and overall handle at the partnered sportsbooks. Data collected by the company suggests bettors are more likely to place higher-value and future-oriented wagers when they have the option to exit early through resale.
PropSwap co-founder and CEO Luke Pergande said, “We are forever changing how people wager on sports. Your bets no longer need to win to get paid. They simply need to improve.”
This is the second such partnership for PropSwap in Mississippi. In April 2024, it began working with Harrah’s Gulf Coast, marking the company’s first official casino collaboration. That partnership followed a similar structure, offering in-person bettors access to PropSwap’s resale network during major events such as The Masters.
Good to know: The state of Mississippi permits online sports betting only within casino premises, making retail-based integrations central to PropSwap’s regional expansion strategy
In addition to the Bally Bet partnership, PropSwap has added gambling industry consultant Dustin Gouker as an advisor.
