Key points:

- BetMGM to sponsor the BetMGM 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway for a second year

- The operator will also headline the BetMGM Speed Street festival from 23 – 25 May

- Promotional ticket offers and fan activations to feature throughout the event weekend

BetMGM has announced its continued sponsorship of the BetMGM 300, a NASCAR Xfinity Series race scheduled to take place on 24 May 2025 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The sports betting and iGaming operator will also sponsor BetMGM Speed Street, a three-day fan festival running in conjunction with the track’s Memorial Day tripleheader weekend.

Now in its second year as race sponsor, BetMGM will be integrated throughout the event, including signage, pace cars and an updated fan experience.

The race winner will receive both the BetMGM 300 trophy and a full-size custom BetMGM slot machine, with the items available for public viewing at a dedicated area on Speed Street.

Fans attending the event will also be offered live music performances and interactive activations.

Good to know: The entertainment lineup includes a performance by Grammy-nominated band Smash Mouth on Saturday evening

Casey Hurbis, BetMGM CMO, said: “As NASCAR betting continues to grow, this weekend presents a wonderful opportunity to connect with passionate motorsport and music fans in the Tar Heel State.”

Charlotte Motor Speedway President Greg Walter added: “With a weekend full of great music, driver appearances and interactive displays... this will be the can’t-miss event to kick off summer.”

In February 2025, BetMGM reported $2.1bn in FY2024 revenue, driven by a 13% year-on-year increase in iGaming. Despite a decline in retail earnings, the operator confirmed plans to achieve positive EBITDA in 2025 and continues to invest in regional activations and new product features.

Recent international launches include market entries in Sweden, the Netherlands and Washington DC. The company also named Casey Hurbis as CMO in December 2024.
