Konami has published its FY2025 report for the company, including its casino division, for the year period ending March 2025.

Focusing on Games & Systems, which Konami describes as the production, manufacture, sale and service of gaming machines and casino management systems, revenue for FY2025 rose 7.4% year-on-year to a total of JPY 42.7bn ($300m).

Business profit increased 18.4% to JPY 7.4bn, which was reflected in a 16.3% growth in operating profit, totalling JPY 7.3bn.

As for the overall business, Konami reported a 17% growth in revenue for a total of JPY 421.6bn across all teams.

Konami operates four main divisions: Digital Entertainment covering mobile, PC and console video games, as well as card games; Amusement arcade machines; Sports facilities and classes; and finally Gaming & Systems, which handles casino machines and CMS.

In the report, Konami commented that “the North American and the Australian markets remained stable” as new slot machines were introduced into the jurisdictions.

The Dimension 49, 27 and 43x3 slot cabinets all saw increases in unit sales.

In North America, Konami noted that titles from the Lucky Honeycomb series and those from the Charms Full Link series remained popular, while the Fortune Hearts series was gaining traction in the Australian market.

Konami’s Synkros casino management system (CMS) was installed in several properties in America, including Ocean Casino Resort in New Jersey, as well as Jack Cleveland Casino and Jack Thistledown Racino in Ohio.

Good to know: Synkros also allows players to order drinks from the slot machines they’re playing at, improving efficiency with bar staff

The video lottery terminal (VLT) vertical has also been distributed to the major operator located in Illinois.

Recently, Konami has also debuted its real-money online slots in Europe through a deal with Solverde Group in Portugal.

The company expects revenue from Gaming & Systems to hit JPY 43bn by the end of FY26, with JPY 7.5bn in both business and operating profit.

While technically part of the Amusement division, Konami has also released several new pachislot titles, including Nanatsu no Maken ga Shihaisuru (Reign of the Seven Spellblades), Kyokara Orewa!! Pachislot Hen (Starting Today, It’s My Turn!!) and Momotaro Dentetsu -Pachislot mo teiban! (Momotarō Electric Railway!).
