Galaxy Entertainment names Eileen Lui as Executive Director

Long-serving HR head to join the company Board in May.

Galaxy Entertainment Group has announced the appointment of Ms Eileen Lui Wai Ling as an Executive Director, effective from 9 May 2025. She will also join the company’s Executive Board on the same date, according to a filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Ms Lui has been with Galaxy Entertainment for over three decades, most recently serving as Group Director of Human Resources and Administration. She also holds directorships within several of the company’s subsidiaries. Her academic background includes an executive master’s degree in business administration from the University of Western Ontario and a degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Ms Lui has held a number of advisory and committee roles. These include past membership of the Zhuhai and Guangdong Committees of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and an advisory position with the Women's General Association of Macau.

She is the younger sister of Mr Francis Lui Yiu Tung, Chairman of the Group, and Mrs Paddy Tang Lui Wai Yu, who also sits on the Board. Apart from these family connections, the company confirmed that Ms Lui has no other relationships with directors, senior management or controlling shareholders.

Her appointment is not for a fixed term but is subject to retirement by rotation and re-election at the company’s annual general meetings, in accordance with its Articles of Association and the relevant listing rules. 

Her remuneration includes an annual salary of MOP 6.37m ($790,000), along with allowances, a director’s fee subject to shareholder approval, and the possibility of discretionary bonus payments and share-based awards. She currently holds personal, family and trust-linked interests in the company’s shares.
