Key points:
- Cherry Play has partnered with Starcasino to launch its slot content in the Netherlands
- The deal builds on an existing collaboration between the two firms in the Belgian market
- Cherry Play continues to offer its subscription-based licensing model, avoiding traditional revenue sharing
Online casino content provider Cherry Play has expanded its footprint in the Dutch-regulated iGaming market through a new content agreement with Starcasino.
The partnership follows Cherry Play’s earlier market debut in the Netherlands with Hard Rock Casino NL in January 2025.
Under the terms of the new deal, Cherry Play will supply Starcasino with its catalogue of classic and newly released slot games, including Chef Super Bet, Super Coin, Shark Casher and Pirates Player.
The partnership extends an existing agreement between Cherry Play and Starcasino in Belgium, where the provider’s games are already live.
Starcasino Netherlands now joins the short list of operators using Cherry Play’s subscription-based licensing model, which replaces conventional revenue-share agreements with a fixed monthly licence fee.
This model has reportedly been central to Cherry Play’s market approach since its establishment in late 2024. According to the company, the arrangement allows operators to retain more revenue while improving game visibility and promotional support. The firm’s technology is supported by Bragg Gaming Group’s platform infrastructure.
Good to know: The titles are now available to Dutch players for the first time
Cherry Play Commercial Account Director, Daniela Fricchione, stated: “We are thrilled to have strengthened our relationship with Starcasino beyond Belgium and into the thriving Dutch market, where the operator has built a large and loyal player base seeking the best online slots in the business.”
This latest development follows Cherry Play’s partnership with Hard Rock Casino NL, which went live earlier this year and introduced titles such as Multi Banks and Golden Cherry Jackpot.
Cherry Play has announced plans to continue its rollout strategy with a target of releasing two new games per month.
