888, SG and Williams named as Delaware vendors

nsortium consisting of 888 Holdings, Scientific Games and Williams Interactive have been selected to provide internet gaming systems and services for legal online gaming in Delaware.

The agreement, which is subject to the completion of final contract negotiations, sees the group of firms named as a Primary Vendor to the Delaware State Lottery, the sole regulator of real-money online gaming in the state.

The companies will offer a full turnkey solution for Delaware’s online gaming platform and content, including poker, casino games and video lottery games.

The companies were chosen for an initial five-year contract following a competitive selection process designed to indentify service providers best suited to serve the needs of the Delaware Lottery.

Delaware passed an online gaming law in June 2012 which made them the first US state to legalise comprehensive intrastate online gaming.

Online gaming products are expected to be launched later this year, with games branded and marketed through the state’s three casinos.
