Intralot signs omni-channel sports betting deal with Amelco

Greek lottery and gambling systems operator Intralot and UK-licensed sports betting technology provider Amelco have joined forces in creating a string of new omni-channel sports betting solutions.

Announcing the partnership, Intralot governance stated that the partnership was needed in order to fulfil changing client demands within regulated lottery and sports betting markets. Furthermore, Amelco’s ATS platform will be integrated with Intralot’s WLA-approved retail lottery solution to help create a customised service.

Intralot is not the first operators so use Amelco’s core ATS sportsbook platform, with other major operators all around the world utilising this product.

Commenting on the strategic partnership, Antonios Kerastaris, Intralot Group CEO states: “Intralot’s legacy as a global sports betting operations leader is widely enhanced by integrating Amelco’s innovative software functionalities.

“We are confident that the resulting pioneering product will quickly be recognised as the best-integrated retail and online betting platform available globally.”

Owner and founder of Amelco, Damian Walton, is similarly confident in the joint venture, adding: “Having the opportunity to deploy our sportsbook solution including our algorithmic trading engine, supplemented with our physical trading services, within the core of Intralot business, will help us demonstrate the full capabilities of the product.

“Our collaboration with Intralot on this partnership will allow us to maximise our full potential on a global scale.”
