New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement has reported total gaming revenue of $614.7m for May 2025, marking a 20.5% year-on-year increase and the state’s strongest monthly performance so far this year.
The monthly total was driven by gains across all major segments. Casino win rose 10.9% to $265.3m, including $194.8m from slot machines (+7.5%) and $70.5m from table games (+21.9%).
Borgata Atlantic City remained the top-grossing venue, reporting $51.1m in revenue, up 14.3%. Hard Rock and Ocean Casino followed with $36.5m (+10.8%) and $30.2m (+8.4%) respectively.
iGaming revenue continued its strong upward trend, rising 28.5% to $246.8m. FanDuel led all operators with $54.4m (+36.1%), followed by DraftKings with $48.1m (+13.8%), BetMGM with $32.5m (+42.7%) and Borgata with $20.8m (+15.1%).

Sports wagering revenue reached $102.5m, a 30.2% increase. FanDuel again topped the list with $44.3m (+20.8%), while DraftKings earned $28.3m (+28.1%).
BetFanatics, though smaller in volume, recorded a 206.8% increase to $6.2m. The total sports betting handle for May exceeded $1bn, with $967.1m placed online.
The May results represent a sharp recovery from April 2025, when total gaming revenue rose just 5% to $536.6m.
In that month, internet gaming surged 25.2%, but both casino and sports wagering segments posted declines. May’s across-the-board gains reflect renewed momentum as the state’s iGaming and betting sectors continue to expand.
