PartyPoker has announced the next destination on its 2025 UK live poker tour, confirming a partnership with Genting Casinos for an event in Birmingham this October.
The tour will stop at Genting Resorts World Casino from 14 to 19 October, marking the fourth leg in a national series that began in London earlier this year.
The Birmingham schedule will feature a £150 ($202) Mini Main Event and a £500 Main Event, along with a variety of side tournaments aimed at both recreational and experienced players.
The series will also include leaderboard-based prizes and opportunities to qualify online via satellite tournaments starting from £0.20.
The UK remains a key region for live poker, with Genting’s casino network providing access to major urban centres across the country.
According to PartyPoker, the ongoing tour is designed to merge online qualification routes with in-person events at established venues.
Good to know: In March 2024, it was reported that Entain, PartyPoker’s parent company, had considered divesting the brand as part of a broader strategic review, although no sale has taken place
In a statement accompanying the latest tour announcement, PartyPoker confirmed plans to host community-focused features alongside the tournaments, including giveaways, pro player Q&As and a dedicated player party.
The brand also stated that highlights and coverage from the Birmingham leg would be available via its YouTube channel, PartyPokerTV.
The collaboration with Genting follows previous stops in Manchester and Glasgow. PartyPoker stated that the live series is part of a broader effort to foster engagement within the poker community and reestablish its brand presence in key local markets.
Players can register for the Birmingham event either in person or online via PartyPoker’s satellite route. The tour is expected to continue into late 2025 with additional cities to be announced.
