Groupe Partouche half-year EBITDA rises 35% to €55.3m

Higher gaming revenue and tighter cost control lift profitability as leverage edges up to 2.4x.

solid growth

Key points:

- Turnover for H1 2024/25 grew 5.7% year-on-year to €233.3m

- EBITDA increased 35.1% to €55.3m, equal to 23.7% of revenue

- Net income advanced 77.2% to €12.6m; current operating income up 56.9%

Groupe Partouche has reported a solid first-half performance for the six months to 30 April 2025, with turnover climbing 5.7% year-on-year to €233.3m ($250.8m) and EBITDA rising 35.1% to €55.3m.

The uplift in earnings was driven by a 4.2% gain in gross gaming revenue to €361.5m and lower personnel expenses following the settlement of social-security liabilities.

Current operating income reached €24.3m, up 56.9%, as all three divisions – casinos, hotels and other activities – improved.

Casino operating profit rose 26.7% to €30.8m, buoyed by cost efficiencies at Aix-en-Provence and stronger contributions from Annemasse, La Tour-de-Salvagny and the new online operation in Middelkerke, Belgium.

Hotel losses narrowed to €1.2m, while the “other” segment reduced its deficit to €5.3m despite continued costs linked to the Paris property on Avenue de la Grande Armée.

Net debt increased by €67.9m to €172.0m following the €60m financing of that Paris building and additional renovation loans, resulting in a leverage ratio of 2.4x (old IAS 17 basis). Cash after gaming levies stood at €75.3m, supporting a gearing level of 0.5x.

Good to know: France’s proposed legalisation of online casino gaming could create new domestic opportunities for Partouche, which already operates online in Belgium

Looking ahead, the group will publish third-quarter figures on 9 September and fourth-quarter turnover on 9 December. Management highlighted continued investment, including refurbishment projects in La Tour-de-Salvagny, Cotonou and Vichy, as key to sustaining long-term growth.

In March 2025, Partouche confirmed the planned sale of its former Cannes property on Rue François Einesy, following the relocation of Casino 3.14 to Palm Beach in December 2024.
