BetssonStockholm
kholm-headquartered Betsson AB has appointed Kaaren Hilsen to the position of CFO.

Hilsen, who previously held the same position for four years at mobile operator Telenor Sweden , will begin her new role no later than 1 November 2017.

She replaces Fredrik Rüden, who will leave Betsson AB on 31 August 2017 having been with the company since 2008.

Prior to her time as CFO of Telenor Sweden, Hilsen held the positions of CFO and later CEO of Telenor in Montenegro.

Ulrik Bengtsson, CEO and President of Betsson AB, commented: “Kaaren’s very broad financial and general management experience, coupled with her international track record in regulated environments, will be great assets for Betsson.

“Our revenue mix is increasingly balanced, shifting from primarily Nordic to a pan-European/Central Asian business with a broad mix of markets”.

Hilsen’s appointment is the latest of Betsson AB’s recent new hires, having appointed Abby Rachel Cosgrave as the firm’s Vice President Legal earlier in April.
