Sands China total net revenue grew 15.5% in Q1 2017
Sands China, which operates casinos in Macau has reported a year-on-year increase in its total net revenue of 15.5% in the first quarter of 2017.
Its total net revenue increased from US$1.62bn in Q1 2016 to $1.83bn for the same period of 2017 with profit increasing 11.% from $313m to $349m.
The largest proportion of the company’s net revenue came from the Venetian Macau casino resort, which generated net revenue of $742m in the first quarter of 2017, however this figure was down $5m from the same period in 2016.
Sands Cotai year-on-year net revenue decreased 12% from $525m in Q1 2016 to $462m for the first three months of 2017.
The Parisian Macau, which opened in September 2016 generated net revenue of $315m in the first quarter of 2017 down $26m from the same period in 2016.
Plaza Macau experienced a $5m drop in year-on-year net revenue, with Sands Macau generating an increase of $7m in its year-on-year net revenue for the first quarter of 2017.
