Sate

SIS
llite Information Services (SIS) have launched a new live football TV channel.

The broadcaster’s latest venture is called SISsoccer+ and will be screened live in betting shops. The channel will feature matches from the German, Danish, Dutch, Austrian and Irish leagues, as well as games from the Conference in England. Italian Cup contests will also be shown, as will international fixtures.

The broadcast content is to include a selection of relevant data designed to encourage betting, such as match, head-to-head and in-running statistics.

Philip Siers, managing director of SIS’s LBO Division, said of the launch: “The continued growth of sports betting and football in particular has carved a niche in the betting shop, and we hope this live football programme will enhance the bookmaker’s football service, offering punters further enjoyment and many more betting opportunities including in-play bets.”

SIS are part-owned by British bookmakers William Hill, Ladbrokes and the Tote.
