Crown Resorts' Company Secretary steps down

n Resorts announced on Friday that Michael Neilson has stepped down from his role as Company Secretary.

The Australia-based company said in a filing that Mary Manos will continue to act as Company Secretary and will also become General Counsel, but Neilson would remain with Crown Group for a transitional period.

Crown Resorts’ Executive Chairman, John Alexander, said: “On behalf of the Crown Board, I would like to thank Michael for 13 years of dedicated service to the Company. During that time, Michael played a key role in managing the legal, compliance and regulatory functions across the Crown Group and in a number of jurisdictions.”

In addition, following Ben Brazil’s resignation on 12 April 2017, the Board has appointed Helen Coonan to replace Ben Brazil as Chair of the Audit and Corporate Governance Committee.

Coonan has served as the Minister for Revenue and Assistant Treasurer and had portfolio oversight of the Australian Taxation Office and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority.
