Microgaming update poker software

The

Microgaming
Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) have released a software update designed to offer players improved usability.

The network – whose clients include Ladbrokes Poker, Stan James Poker and 32Red Poker – say a number of the developments have been brought in as a result of player requests. These include the introduction of larger cards, the downsizing of 10-handed cash game tables to 9-handed ones, and changes to the bet slider function and My Calendar feature. In addition, the update has seen the unveiling of new Multi-Table Launcher and Auto Buy-In features, as well as a Bad Beat Jackpot.

The release also includes a bonus tool; an extension of the existing Loyalty System. The standard pending bonus is joined by the rarer but more powerful immediate bonus, which is handed out to players as soon as it is triggered and is protected from cash-out.

Although the update went live on Unibet in late August elements of the release, such as the larger cards and 9-seat cash tables, will only be introduced when the new software is deployed across all MPN operators in October.

Lydia Melton, head of network games at Microgaming, said of the new release: “At Microgaming we are constantly innovating and looking for ways to enhance our poker product. The new features and functionality have been developed from listening to operator and player feedback and we are confident that the new software version will lead to an enhanced user experience.”
