Stockholm-headquartered Global Gaming has announced the addition of Mark Wadsworth to its executive team.

Wadsworth joins as Director of the group’s companies in Malta, with a view to spearheading two “major development projects”.

Formerly Head of Platform at Betsson, Wadsworth has more than ten years of gaming industry experience, setting up The Game Factory in Malta and helping to build its technology platform from the ground up.

He made use of that same platform in developing the first ever live in-play lottery product at Contagious Games, which selects lottery numbers based on the timing of goals in football matches.

Global Gaming CEO, Stefan Olsson said: “We’re delighted to welcome Mark to the team, in what is an exciting time for Global Gaming.

“Mark has a wealth of experience in the industry and a track record of developing innovative and sophisticated gaming platforms. We’re very confident he will become a valuable asset to our team.”

Wadsworth added: “I’m very excited to be joining Global Gaming, a company which places innovation at the heart of its operations.

“We have some special projects in the pipeline which I can’t wait to be involved with, in what is sure to be a very interesting period of growth for the company.”
