stry supplier Scientific Games has won a new six-year contract as the primary instant games provider for the Colorado Lottery.
The new deal, which commenced on 1 July 2017 and contains the option for two additional years, will also see Scientific Games provide instant game planning, research and analysis, marketing services and sales support.
The Colorado Lottery’s annual profits from instant game sales rose 19% over the lifetime of its previous contract with Scientific Games, which ran from 2011 to 2016.
John Schulz, Scientific Games' Senior Vice President, Instant Products said: "We have collaborated with the Colorado Lottery to develop a very strong portfolio of instant games, and we are honoured to have the opportunity to continue our great work together for another six years.
"We remain focused on the research and analysis that help us create games Coloradans love, and on the Lottery's mission to grow returns to the state for programs that protect its most valuable resources."
Laura Solano, Colorado Lottery Director, said: “The Colorado Lottery has proudly re-invested more than $3bn to Colorado's great outdoors, and Scientific Games has been instrumental in helping us achieve our proceeds goals.
"They've been a great partner for more than 30 years, and continue to demonstrate a commitment to the integrity and quality of our scratch games."
