Sky Betting & Gaming has shown a strong commitment to Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) by entering a new market joint venture with Dribble.

Sky Bet reinforces its Daily Fantasy Sports portfolio by partnering with Dribble

This partnership will integrate Dribble’s games under the Sky Bet brand, strengthening its real-money fantasy sports content. It will complement the current Sky Games offering of: Soccer Saturday Super 6, Sky Sports Fantasy Football, Sky Sports Fantasy Six a Side and Sporting Life Pick 7.

Ted Moss, Managing Director of Sky Betting & Gaming commented: “We’ve been watching the Daily Fantasy market flourish in the US, this will be our way of understanding how big this type of product could be on our shores.”

Ahead of the start of the English football league, the games available are: 1v1 Drafts or Dream Team contests, 5-aside team competitions including Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, MLS; and international games without a restricted budget. Additionally, Dribble will offer cash prizes for top five leading players.

Dribble, only currently available at iOS, focuses on casual players who might find other daily fantasy football operators too complicated and confusing.

Dribble CEO Nicholas Wright adds: “Having a household betting name like Sky Bet behind us shows that a game where fantasy players are actually rewarded for playing is the way forward.

“This is a big win for daily fantasy in the UK & we’re excited to work with such a forward-thinking brand that challenges the betting space.”

On Sky’s behalf, Joe Mirtaheri, Head of Sky Games, of Sky Betting & Gaming, said: “Dribble’s fresh and disruptive approach to Fantasy Football has really impressed both early users and internal staff. I’m extremely excited to see how our partnership grows as we further understand the UK and international market and create amazing experiences for users.”
