EMerchantPay announce senior staff hires

Jeffrey van der Meer has been hired as global business development manager for gambling and forex, while Christian van Biezen joins in the equivalent role for video gaming.

Former Payvision employee Van der Meer, who has more than four years’ payments experience, will be tasked with offering tailor-made solutions to each individual merchant, ensuring clients get the highest return on investment.

He said: “My greatest assets are my passion for online payments, my experience and my strong international network.”

Van Biezen, who has worked in the payments sector since August 2011, will be responsible for establishing new commercial opportunities in the video gaming space.

He said: “My acquisition and relationship management skills will help me in achieving success, as will my knowledge of the trends and needs within the video gaming industry.”
