NYX appoint new Group CTO

Digital gaming provider NYX Gaming Group has announced the appointment of Chris Armes as their new Group Chief Technology Officer.

NYX appoint new Group CTO

Armes has held roles in the technology industry for over 25 years, and will be leaving behind his role of Vice President at Oracle, Engineering for Systems. As a result, Armes is well acquainted with “managing high performing global teams, covering the full delivery experience for large-scale international projects, across both hardware and software” according to NYX’s press release on Monday.

Group CEO Matt Davey said: “We’re pleased to welcome Chris to the team, and we look forward to him providing technical direction across numerous areas of our product-led strategy.”

As the new Group Chief Technology Officer, Chris will be responsible for the company’s product and support development teams across sportsbook, lotteries, bingo and casino. The task of reining in all the different products under one delivery model will be his first task.

“I’m thrilled to be joining NYX Gaming Group in what is a very exciting period of growth for the company,” said Armes. “I’m looking forward to working closely with NYX customers to ensure that our product innovation is in line with their current and future needs.”
