onsible gaming software firm Playscan have signed a Letter of Intent for a service access agreement with problem gambling charity GamCare.
The letter outlines plans for the independent Svenska Spel subsidiary to embed GamCare’s services within their full portfolio of solutions for all approved GamCare gaming operators utilising the Playscan system.
Playscan’s solution helps gaming operators detect unhealthy gambling behaviour among their customers while also raising players’ awareness about their own gambling habits.
GameCare provide information, advice, support and free counselling on the prevention and treatment of problem gambling.
Playscan AB chief sales officer Mark Knighton said: “Providing embedded direct access to all of GamCare’s services through the Playscan player interface will provide the highest level of consumer protection directly to the player, when the player needs it.”
