Microgaming launch Lucky Koi slot

Microgaming
iders Microgaming have unveiled a new Asian-themed video slot.

Lucky Koi is a five-reel, 25-payline game which takes players to the “tranquil and serene” Far East, offering them chances to win via scatters, wild pays and free spins.

The Lucky Koi logo acts as the wild, meaning it can be substituted for other symbols, while three, four or five stone lantern scatter symbols trigger a bonus choice feature, with players able to select between the free spins feature and the Koi Bonus.

Choosing the free spins feature sees them rewarded with a random bonus of between 10 and 30 free spins with a multiplier of up to 5x, while selecting the Koi Bonus will commence an interactive fishing trip at the Koi pond, where they are given between three and six opportunities to earn rewards by catching a Nishikigoi fish

Microgaming head of casino Mike Hebden said: “The game’s aesthetic appeal combined with its rewarding features will make it very popular among online players.

“Lucky Koi is the first of many new and exciting additions to Microgaming’s casino games portfolio for 2014 – there’s plenty more to look forward to in the coming months.”
