Microgaming to launch Terminator slot

iders Microgaming are developing a Terminator online slot game.

Set to be previewed at next month’s ICE show ahead of a summer launch, the new T2 title is based on the Oscar-winning 1991 sci-fi thriller Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

The result of a licensing agreement with production company Studiocanal S.A, the slot will be a 243 ways-to-win game which expands to 1,024 ways-to-win during the free spins feature, triggered by three or more time travel orb symbols, while the T-800 and T-1000 Terminators will offer additional winning opportunities.

Microgaming CEO Roger Raatgever said: “We are incredibly excited to be developing an online slot around the Terminator 2 movie – it is a brand which has mass appeal and lends itself perfectly to the world of online gaming.

“As explosive as the film, we are in the process of creating an action-packed, jaw-dropping slot. It’s a classic in the making!”
