Intralot Italia, a subsidiary of suppliers Intralot, have launched a new mobile and tablet sports-betting product.
Introduced at ICE Totally Gaming in February, SportsMobile utilises HTML5 technology to enable users to bet on their devices both before and during live sporting events.
The new offering is fully integrated with Intralot’s interactive gaming platform, ensuring cross-channel compatibility in line with the company’s Universal Gaming Experience framework.
Intralot Italia CEO Emilio Iaia said: “This solution represents a key pillar of growth in our interactive strategy, which is evolving by continuously developing new products and services to respond to the market needs and players’ new preferences.”
Meanwhile Intralot have partnered with broadcast specialists SIS to help promote greyhound racing in Eastern Europe.
The firms, who already maintain a long-term relationship which sees SIS supply live and virtual dog racing for distribution by Intralot in a range of territories, have launched a new scheme in Azerbaijan and Poland.
Specially selected retail operators in the countries, chosen via criteria such as biggest increases in revenue, will be flown to London in April to watch live greyhound racing.
SIS Betting managing director George Irvine said: “This incentivises operators but also helps give them an insight into live greyhound racing.”
“By sponsoring races and having the winners on hand to present prizes, we aim to raise the profile in Azerbaijan and Poland of greyhound racing.”
Intralot director of racing Yiannis Gangas added: “This initiative is part of our efforts to promote betting on premium greyhound racing to new international markets.”
