The Stars Group set to offer mobile sports betting in New Jersey

The Stars Group has announced an extension of its current partnership with Resorts Casino Hotel in New Jersey, which will see online and mobile sports wagering on its BetStars platform.

The extension adds to The Stars Group’s agreement, which already sees its PokerStarsNJ brand offer online poker games.

The Stars Group’s US expansion adds to its large sports betting portfolio including the recent acquisition of Sky Bet. Overall, its portfolio took a combined betting revenue of $800m last year.

The Stars Group intends to expand its offerings to in-play markets, bespoke accumulators and live streaming, after regulatory approval. As well as, offering more sports to wager on including; NCAA football, NHL, tennis and football among others.
