Sportcast and Ladbrokes Australia launch acca-building product

Supplier Sportcast has teamed up with operator Ladbrokes Australia to launch Multiverse – an accumulator betting product free of limitations.

Multiverse, confirmed on Sportcast’s official Twitter feed and described as a first for the industry, allows bettors to combine multiple selections from any sport within the same accumulator.

Customers using the platform would be free to combine a horse racing bet with anything from rugby to basketball. Currently, Ladbrokes Australia is offering the product across the NRL rugby league, Australian Rules' AFL, NBA basketball and various football leagues, with more sports planned.

Sportcast commercial director Ryan Coombs said: “Multiverse demonstrates the flexibility of Sportcast’s technology in offering a unique and seamless betting experience without the limitations punters have had to endure in the past.”

Ladbrokes Australia’s Chief Marketing Officer Jason Kibsgaard said: “Partnering with Sportcast creates new opportunities to leverage cutting edge technology and deliver both a fantastic same game multi product and an experience like no other.”

Strategically speaking, Sportcast’s latest move is part of a long-term commitment to innovation. Just under a year ago, the provider announced the launch of BetBuilder, which allows bettors to build accumulator bets across several markets, in partnership with supplier Betgenius.
