GiG secures GB sports betting license

Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has secured a B2B sports betting license for Great Britain from the Gambling Commission (GC).

The supplier had an existing B2C license in place within the UK but GC approval now means GiG can supply its sports betting services to other brands and operators within the regulated market.

GiG’s products include GiG Sports Connect, GiG Trader and GiG Goal, with internal operator Rizk.com becoming the first to use the supplier's services within the UK.

GiG was able to report impressive Q2 results earlier this year, with revenues increasing 39% year-on-year to €36.9m ($42.1m).

CEO Robin Reed also exclusively told Gambling Insider in August that the company is targeting several new markets.
