NextGen announces Judge Dredd partnership

NextGen Gaming, the slots studio of provider NYX Gaming Group, has signed an exclusive licensing deal to create games featuring 2000 AD’s Judge Dredd character.

The partnership covers the licensing of slots and bingo games for online and mobile, in all formats, for worldwide distribution.

The debut Judge Dredd slot will be released by NextGen in the summer, available exclusively first via the Open Gaming System (OGS) of NYX.

NYX Gaming Group SVP product Scott Smith said: “We’re proud to be working with one of the greatest comic characters of all time in bringing a multi-featured, richly branded gaming experience online with Judge Dredd.”

David Johnson, commercial director at NYX, added: “Judge Dredd’s infamous no nonsense style of law and order married with NextGen’s proven premium, repeat play slots expertise will make for quite the summer blockbuster title.”
