Sega Sammy Creation joins Gaming Standards Association

Japanese entertainment firm Sega Sammy Creation has joined the Gaming Standards Association (GSA).

The pachislot, pachinko and games company has enlisted with the trade association as a platinum member and will help create and maintain standards within the industry.

“We have unique insight and experience from our time developing entertainment that we believe can be of great value to the evolution of standards in the gaming industry,” said Sega Sammy Creation CEO Hisao Oguchi.

GSA president Peter DeRaedt added: “It is the international diversity of our members that brings wider acceptance and perspective on the standards.”

Other platinum GSA members include Aristocrat Technologies, Bally Technologies, Konami Gaming and Playtech.
