New Jersey sports betting drives GAN revenue growth

Supplier GAN announced gross operator revenue (GOR) of $116.3m for 2018.

Q4 GOR grew 103.9% year-on-year to $41.8m; an increase of $15.1m from the previous month.

In its quarterly publication, GAN gave details on active player days, which increased to 4.6 million, a rise of 50.6% year-on-year.

Breaking down revenue to see player-by-player results, GAN announced average revenue per active player-day (ARPDAU) of $9.05; a 15.2% change from the previous quarter.

Dermot Smurfit, GAN CEO said: “Internet sports betting in New Jersey drove exceptional growth of gross operator revenue in the last quarter of 2018 with a significant positive impact on casino revenues from cross-selling casino games to sports gamblers.”
