The new agreement covers both its retail presence and online facilities across Spain, Mexico, Panama and Colombia.

The partnership will include 9000 betting terminals and retail tills, with more expected in due course, as well as new content and features aimed at benefiting Codere’s user journeys.

Playtech recently agreed a new self-service betting terminals deal with Paddy Power, as well as entering the Swedish market on 1 January 2019.

Codere CEO, Vicente Di Loreto, said: “We are very pleased to have extended our deal with Playtech BGT Sports, which is amazing news for our growing business across Spain and Latin America.”

John Pettit, CCO at Playtech, said: “We know the type of user journey we can provide, combined with the range of betting events and markets, and ability to build accumulator bets has driven additional margin for them in multiple markets.”
