Parx Casino to launch Simulated Gaming service from GameAccount

Launched in January 2014, Simulated Gaming is an online gaming service designed by GameAccount specifically for land-based US casinos to launch in advance of prospective real-money internet gaming regulation.

The product offers a gaming-as-entertainment consumer website enabled with monetisation features and a portfolio of over 100 casino slot, table and skill-based games including poker, backgammon, gin rummy, poker dice and blackjack tournaments.

The Simulated Gaming proposition will be launched onto ParxCasino.com and integrated with Parx’ customer management system, most likely during Q4 2014.

The service will also enable Parx’ patrons to use their reward cards to play online slots.

Owned by Greenwood Racing, Parx Casino is a thoroughbred racetrack and casino property in Pennsylvania boasting a 30% share of the state’s casino market.

GameAccount Network CEO Dermot Smurfit said: “Parx’ selection of our unique internet gaming service is further validation of the monetisation model, the underlying strength of our regulation-ready Internet Gaming System, the promotional capabilities of our back office and relevant appeal of our widening gaming portfolio.”

John Dixon, CTO of Greenwood Entertainment and Racing, added: “By deploying the system on-property Parx Casino will have the opportunity to launch Simulated Gaming nationwide before year’s end and be well prepared in the event regulation of real-money internet gaming emerges in the State of Pennsylvania.”
