Nevada gaming revenue up 4% to $952.4m for August

Total gaming revenue in Nevada rose 4% year-on-year to $952.4m for August, the state’s third straight monthly increase following five months of decline.

Sportsbook revenue grew 49% to $18.7m, with overall table, counter and card game revenue (including sportsbook) up 14% to $336.9m.

However, slot machine revenue was marginally down 0.5% to $615.5m, with multi denomination slot machine revenue falling 7% to $246.4m.

But 1 cent slot machine revenue rose 3% to $273.8m.

For July, Nevada’s casino revenue was $1.02bn, an increase of 3% year-on-year.
