The extension will allow Betgenius, the sports betting division of Genius Sports Group, to continue the distribution of real-time Euroleague data to its network of licensed sportsbooks.
The basketball league, which first partnered with Genius Sports in 2014, is televised in over 200 countries and watched by more than 50 million fans each season.
Genius Sports will capture the league’s live data using courtside technology which will then be distributed as a live feed to operators.
With the launch its new rights enforcement strategy, Euroleague also pledges to remove unauthorised data collectors found to be operating within its stadiums.
Jack Davison, Chief Commercial Officer at Genius Sports, said: “The extension of our partnership with one of the world’s leading basketball leagues demonstrates our commitment to ensuring security of supply, of the most important content, to our customers.
“Our investment in the growth of live basketball betting is dependent on the capture and distribution of fast, accurate and highly reliable data.”
Last year, Genius Sports also extended its technology partnership with the International Basketball Federation.
