BetUK takes up Queens Park Rangers sponsorship deal

English Championship football team Queens Park Rangers (QPR) has changed shirt sponsor and betting partner from Royal Panda to fellow LeoVegas-owned sportsbook BetUK.com for the remainder of the season.

With the agreement, BetUK.com’s logo will be displayed on first-team shirts for the rest of the season, as well as being displayed around QPR’s stadium with other promotional material featuring as part of the package.

LeoVegas announced Royal Panda is set to leave the UK market in January and this is what has led to its departure from the sponsorship of QPR.

QPR’s Commercial Director Euan Inglis said: "Royal Panda has been a fantastic partner for the last two and a half seasons.

"Although Royal Panda will be replaced by BetUK.com until the end of this season, our relationship with the [LeoVegas] group will be maintained by BetUK.com coming on board."

LeoVegas acquired the Royal Panda brand in 2017, for an initial fee of €60m ($66.7m).
