The extension will see Scientific Games become the lottery operator’s primary instant games provider, increasing the number of its products in the Connecticut Lottery’s portfolio.
The supplier will also provide marketing services, research and analytics to help the growth of the Lottery.
Scientific Games and the Connecticut Lottery have had a partnership for more than 40 years.
John Schulz, SVP, Lottery Instant Products for Scientific Games, said: “We are honoured that the Connecticut Lottery has increased our role to primary instant games provider, and has placed its trust in Scientific Games as the best value and alignment for growth and maximising profits for state programs.
“We look forward to helping the Lottery achieve its goals for future growth.”
Last week, Scientific Games announced it would be signing a 10-year contract with the Iowa Lottery after a competitive bidding process.
The supplier will deliver technology to the Lottery, which plans to implement the new gaming system in the summer of 2021.
