Fleyshman, former CEO of poker site Victory Poker, is to become the new CEO of the Ivey Poker brand and Ivey League training site.

Ivey Poker is to be relaunched in 2015, when Fleyshman is set to take over, after the free-to-play Facebook poker app decided to close down temporarily in October.

The app had been in operation since July 2013, lead by poker professional Phil Ivey, but struggled to attract a high number of players.

Fleyshman said: “When it came to Phil Ivey, I always saw how much more his brand could really be, so I was excited at the idea of really expanding him from Ivey Poker the app and training site into 'Ivey League' the brand.”

Fleyshman’s own poker career saw him amass more than $700,000 in career earnings and reach seventh place at the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event in 2010.

He launched Victory Poker in the same year, which closed down in 2011.
