Scientific Games expands into Colorado with Betfred deal
Scientific Games has expanded its sports betting partnership with Betfred into the state of Colorado.
The supplier will power Betfred’s recently launched sportsbook at Saratoga Casino in Black Hawk, providing its full range of OpenSports retail solutions.

Betfred signed a sports betting deal with the Colorado casino in January and launched its sportsbook earlier this week.
The sportsbook is Betfred’s second in the US, after the bookmaker opened its sportsbook at the Grand Falls Casino in Iowa in February.
Earlier this week, Betfred also announced a new sports betting partnership with the Denver Broncos, which will see the bookmaker benefit from marketing opportunities and stadium signage.
As part of its agreement with the NFL team, Betfred outlined plans to create a betting lounge outside Empower Field at Mile High – the Broncos’ official stadium.
Bryan Bennett, COO of Betfred US, said the bookmaker is aiming to activate its sportsbooks in at least two more states by the end of the year, including plans for a launch at Wind Creek Casino in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, which Scientific Games will also power.
