Player who visited Star Casino Sydney tests positive for COVID-19

There was more negative news for the operator in Queensland, where it has failed to reach an agreement with local government on a second Gold Coast casino license, as reported by InQueensland.

The State Government said over the weekend it does not intend to pursue plans for a new integrated resort – including a second casino – on the Gold Coast, especially in light of the pandemic.

This included the termination of negotiations with Star Entertainment Group for an exclusive long-term license.
