Newgioco Group has been confirmed as the sponsor for the Product Innovation of the Year Award at the Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas 2020.

The Product Innovation category is a significant driver within the industry every year, with plenty of demand for innovation for pandemic-related social distancing in 2020.

The Awards, in their seventh year but going virtual for the first time due to the COVID-19-enforced cancellation of G2E 2020, will see companies battle it out across this category and 11 others.

Sponsor Newgioco has made a name for itself globally for sports betting, virtuals and many other solutions, while it is also becoming a growing force within the US. The company is now public following its IPO.

Gambling Insider COO Julian Perry said: “Newgioco Group is a truly valued sponsor, given its growth in the US and contribution to the sector from a technological standpoint.

"Without innovation, this industry stands still; and we've made sure only the most innovative products have made our final Shortlist."

The Awards are powered by Gambling Insider and Gaming America, in association with G2E, with BetConstruct returning as Lead Partner of the Awards for the fourth time.

The Awards are independently adjudicated by KPMG, while the full list of nominees will be announced in our Shortlist magazine and in an upcoming GI Friday newsletter.
