The five-year deal sees the operator become one of the first to enter into a partnership with a major NCCAA Division-I Athletics Program college sports team.
The sponsorship will provide a financial boost for the university’s athletics program which has been stretched due to the coronavirus pandemic, and includes support for the department’s Scripps Leadership, and Career Development Program.
The deal will also see PointsBet provide responsible gaming and sports betting education and awareness.
The operator recently began construction of a new North American headquarters in state capital, Denver.
The university sponsors 17 varsity programs at NCCA Division-I level, with the Buffaloes competing in the top levels of college football and basketball, among other sports.

The operator recently signed similar deals in the state, becoming the official partner of National Basketball Association (NBA) team the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League (NHL).
