Merge Gaming establishes companies in Malta
By Gambling Insider
Merge Gaming Network is pleased to announce that its recently established companies in Malta were issued a Letter of Intent by the Malta Lotteries and Gaming Authority in relation to its application for a Class 3 and Class 4 Remote Gaming License. This enables the network to offer current and future network partners the option of being regulated by Malta (subject to the satisfaction of the conditions set out in the LOI), in addition to the current Network license in Kahnawake.

Anthony Taylor, Merge Gaming CEO, had the following to say about the announcement:
"After much research and analysis I am completely confident that the Malta Lotteries and Gaming Authority are the right licensing partner for us in the European region. We are excited to be able to offer this additional licensing option to our operators and European players as part of our ongoing commitment to make the Merge Gaming Network the premier poker destination for online players. We are continuing to increase our network offering for our European players, which has included adjustments to our tournament schedule and continually adding regionalised payment options for various European countries. With more sites on the Network making Europe their primary focus we believe the Malta license will help drive further Network growth."
