Cambodian casinos slowly reopen
By Violeta Prockyte

Ministry of Economy and Finance deputy director Ros Phearun said, “The casinos are limited in operations and must ensure social distancing and cleanliness. We expect more reopenings soon.” The casinos were shut down on April 1 and allowed to resume work on July 3, as long as they followed the government guidelines regarding health and safety requirements.

NagaCorp’s NagaWorld resumed work mid-July, reportedly the first casino in Cambodia to open its doors after the lockdown. Star Vegas, a casino that belongs to Donaco International Ltd, resumed work last week with a limited reopening.
