ware endured a 4.5% drop in online gaming revenue for December, the latest figures have revealed.

Results from the Delaware Lottery showed $169,606 was brought in, which was down from the £177,532 recorded in November.

Revenue is up over $29,000 year-on-year from $140,009 in December 2013.

However the figure is a long way off the record set in April, when $240,672 was generated, with the lowest overall total standing at $111,000 in November 2013.

Online poker rake and fees fell 9% from $31,610 to $28,589, making December the third worst month for online poker revenue since internet gambling was regulated in the state in November 2013 – eclipsed only by the $28,465 and $25,607 generated in October and June 2014 respectively.

December’s online poker figure shows a year-on-year decline of 73% from the $106,922 the previous year.

Table games were up by over $4,000 to $99,820 for the month, while video lottery was down by over $9,000 to $41,197.

Player sign-ups also decreased for the month, dropping from 308 to 256 – a record low.
